For Borrowing a “Cup of Sugar”

Thank you Note #3 – To my neighbors two doors down who lent me half a cup of oatmeal New Year’s Eve so that I could finish the pear crisp without having to go back to the store! I finally got more oatmeal and sent a note back with what I had borrowed. I am lucky to have neighbors I feel comfortable enough to ask for help in a pinch.
(Although, it is funny that this doesn’t happen more often?)
